Grow In Grace Senior Living was founded with a heartfelt mission: to create a home-like environment where seniors are celebrated—not just cared for. What began as a dream has grown into a calling rooted in compassion, faith, and purpose.

Kimberlie’s passion for senior care began at just 15 years old while working in a nursing home in her hometown. Even then, it was clear her heart was meant for serving the elderly. Over the years, she gained valuable experience in larger care settings, but something was always missing—the warmth, laughter, and personal connection that truly make a place feel like home.

In January 2020, that vision became reality with the opening of the first Grow In Grace home in Ganado, Texas. Soon after, a second location followed in Edna.

As the need for more personalized senior care continued to grow, so did the mission. In the fall of 2025, Grow In Grace expanded to Palacios with the opening of Grow In Grace at the Bay, quickly becoming a beloved home filled with laughter, peace, and connection. With overwhelming community support and a growing waitlist, an additional Palacios location is already on the horizon.

Looking ahead, Grow In Grace is preparing to open a new location in Wallis, which will include dedicated Memory Care—further deepening the commitment to serving those with Alzheimer’s and dementia in a safe, dignified, and nurturing environment.

After a successful corporate career, BJ joined Kimberlie full-time to bring this shared vision to life. Together, they pour their hearts into each home—creating meaningful experiences through engaging activities, home-cooked meals, and genuine relationships. Their philosophy is simple: care for residents on their time, honoring their pace, their preferences, and their life stories.

Grow In Grace Senior Living is more than a place to live—it’s a place of advocacy, connection, and support. Kimberlie also leads monthly family caregiving support meetings, offering guidance and encouragement to families both within their homes and throughout the community.
